How to update Skyzone Cobra S receiver

I read the manual of my googles, which said to connect the receiver to my computer and copy the new firmware files to the drive that comes up in File Explorer.

However, when I connect the receiver module, my computer just says "The last USB device connected malfunctioned". I've had this problem on two different computers. Additionally, I haven't been able to find any firmware downloads for this receiver module online, so I don't know where to get the new firmware updates from.

Does anyone have these goggles and receiver module and know how to update them?
