Is it possible for my sjrc f11 4k pro to turn it into an ndvi camera drone? I'm new into this and I really dont have an idea about drones components. I have read few documentations of turning a drone into an ndvi drone but I'm afraid that my drone has a different build and mess it up. Hoping for some help. I just got a drone and I don't need to register it but I was wondering what are the steps for me to start flying? I watched a lot of videos and read about it online. But I am still not sure. Some people say we are allowed to just take off. Others say to use the kitty hawk app to get authorization on advance. Some videos are saying I can just turn on dji fly app and check all the boxes if a warning shows up and continue. I tried using the kitty hawk app and it works for a restricted area next to my home but only limits to 50ft and I can only schedule flights during the day. When I tried a different area it kept telling me laanc authorization failed but on the dji app I was able to fly with no warnings. So what is the right way of doing things? Am I supposed to use the kitty hawk app for pre authorization before taking off. Also how can I get approval to fly the drone at night. I also live in a blue zone and every time I try to use the drone it asks me to confirm that I am authorized...

I just got the Mavic Air 2, and I feel a bit disappointed because I had no idea the Air 2S was coming out the week I got the Air 2. The price i got it for was $1,499 on BHPHOTO, and it just dropped in value to $988. I still have time to return the Air 2. Uk Based - looking to get into FPV - currently fly DJI Mavic Mini and love it - but want something to have some fun with around the house and a bit of other filming. I was given some cobra motors. They go with 12inch probs and draw less than 30 amps. I also have a run cam hybrid, and a fly sky controller. I made a drone using px4 while back, and I want to use a raspberry pi to start a mision. The way I want to make it is connecting the Pi to the drone using the telemetry, and have the pi running mosquito so I can use a wifi-connected device to start the drone. I recently was flying my drone today and during flight I noticed clouds of smoke billowing up into the sky. I turned my drone into that direction and filmed the incident. I submitted the footage to my local news station, and the views on the Facebook page blew up. After reading some comments I realized that it is highly dangerous to go anywhere near the fire and I’m glad I didn’t get closer. Later I looked on a map and measured the distance from where my Mavic air 2 was to the wildfire and it was about 2 miles. I've been doing still photography for about 15 years now. I mostly do filming location photography (I go to places where TV shows and movies were filmed and recreate those shots) as well as basic landscape photography (mostly waterfalls and mountains and stuff). Ive been considering getting a drone so I can replicate crane and aerial shots from movies, as well as just get some cool aerial shots in general. I'm looking for something relatively small, with high quality photo/video, that is easy to control (when I do the filming location stuff I try to match angles exactly so I want to be have a lot of control over drone movement so I can match angles easily). Budget is about $1000, but am fine paying a little more if the value is really there. Anything else I should know? Rules, regulations, laws about flying? I'm a privot pilot so I fully understand airspace. I live near a municipal airport and am within the class D airspace. The airports airspace is [28].
