I've been doing still photography for about 15 years now. I mostly do filming location photography (I go to places where TV shows and movies were filmed and recreate those shots) as well as basic landscape photography (mostly waterfalls and mountains and stuff).
Ive been considering getting a drone so I can replicate crane and aerial shots from movies, as well as just get some cool aerial shots in general.
I'm looking for something relatively small, with high quality photo/video, that is easy to control (when I do the filming location stuff I try to match angles exactly so I want to be have a lot of control over drone movement so I can match angles easily). Budget is about $1000, but am fine paying a little more if the value is really there.
Anything else I should know? Rules, regulations, laws about flying?
Thanks in advance.
