How do you get a line of drones certified as airworthy from the FAA? Actually it's a fleet of drones, so would it be type certification? I'm looking to get some drone footage during my motorcycle trip cross-country and am not sure where to begin looking. I've looked up a few brands that pop up a lot - specifically, the DJI Mavic Mini 2 and Skydio. I come in peace. I would like to get an fpv drone. However I have no idea what to start with. My rc experience is mostly ground vehicles. With a couple toy grade drones and helicopters. I would like to get something for general fun and to take decent videos of my ground vehicles. I'm looking for sub $200. But I completely understand getting into a new hobby can get expensive quick. After I activated the vista in DJI Assistant 2 FPV, I went right to updating it, which was dumb, as it could have overheated. And once it gotten to 95%, it started disconnecting and reconnecting, until the app said it was an unstable connection. I had the fan on it as it was updating, and I am lost. Hello everyone, I am trying to pursue my drone license to advance myself I’m my work place. I started looking for study guides and references but everything seems to be super specific. Hi everyone, I’m looking to buy an used drone and was wondering if I could get some tips to determine the worth of the item. I’ve looked at the following two models: DJI mavic pro with all accessories DJI mavic air with all accessories I’ve tried getting the usage logs but unfortunately it’s not reliable as it is erasable. I bought the DJI FPV Combo and I am getting about 16 minutes in normal mode. I heard that when you go full manual you can get maybe 8 to 10 minutes of flight time. Being relatively new to FPV, is that enough? I find that my eyes get a bit exhausted after using the goggels after a 16 minute flight, but I know that acro is supposed to be a different experience. Hey there everyone, I've started to look into getting my second drone. I currently have a cheap knockoff Mavic style drone (Hubsan Zino), and I was looking to get a new drone. I primarily am looking to do some dynamic video (preferably at 4k) and am in the process of getting my Part 107. Down the road I'll probably also pick up a better Mavic style drone (Possibly air 2?) if I start to get real estate jobs. For a Cinewhoop style drone, I see I need the drone itself, FPV goggles, a transmitter, and a camera. I'm prepared to spend somewhere between $500-900. What should I be looking at? Examples of Sensitive Infrastructure landmarks are prisons, water treatment facilities, (water towers?), other government buildings, etc., and my understanding is you can't fly near these places in some states. I have looked at some of these landmarks in B4Ufly and haven't found any no fly zones over these kinds of facilities. So I'm wondering if they're lacking from the app all together.
