Motorsport/Automotive photographer looking for purchase advice

Hey guys, I’m stuck deciding between the Mini 2 or the Air 2.

I work for a racing school, and they want me to start producing video content with a drone and my DSLR. I’m from Canada, and somewhat familiar with the laws for drones so far after doing some brief research.

How much of an upgrade would the air 2 be compared to the Mini 2? Is it well worth the extra hassle of getting licensed and registered?
