Is flying two drones near eachother safe in terms of connection? Mini x mini 2

Hey all! Figured someone more experienced here could help with my question. My dad and I both have gotten drones recently, he got a mini and I got the mini 2. I know the type of connection the two drones use are different but I’d rather have some input before we risk going in blind. If we were to stand in close range of eachother while flying both our drones, would there be any connection issues? Or anything I should be aware of? Thanks!
