Definition of "Commercial"

Hey All, I've been recently researching for my first drone, however I have concerns with recent drone YouTubers being hit with massive fines. I have heard stories of channels being defined as "commercial" whether or not they make money off of YouTube and therefore getting hit with fines for operating without a Part 107 license. As I'm a beginner I was planning to get a basic drone and post some of the videos on YouTube just to share but would this count as commercial work? Of course I plan to follow all the hobby flying rules and regulations while I decide if I want to pursue my part 107 license, but am afraid that the footage could lead to large fines.

I would appreciate any resources that could shed some more light into this or your personal experience (which I recognize is not legal advice) and look forward to entering the world of drones!
