DJI Mini 2 - does the propeller guard make it a >250g drone for FAA purposes?

So I recently got the DJI Mini 2, and based on my understanding of the FAA rules (I'm in the US), I don't have to register it or take a test / get a drone license since it's <250g (correct me if I'm wrong on anything please!). I was wondering- if I use the DJI propellor guard I purchased, does that make the drone >250g that I would need to register and have a license?

I've made sure to read up on the rules regarding where I can and can't fly, what I can and can't do, etc. and I'm looking to fly it recreationally. I'm looking to do everything correctly because I'd rather not endanger anyone or violate any regulations.
