I(16) am building my first custom drone. I want to use it for aerial photography, and i wanted a custom drone so i could design the frame plates in Fusion360 (which I already have a rough draft). The plan is to have custom attachments for different uses, but the main use is going to be photography. I plan on making the frame ~13in (330.2mm) The camera i will be using is a Canon Eos t7i(800d), which weighs 1.175lb (18.8oz or 532.97g).
my focuses are on stability (for better videos) and battery life/ flight time
I found a guide online which says that for a 350mm frame, I should use a size 2208 1600KV motor. My understanding is that this causes low torque making it more efficient. I did some searching, but i couldn't find a 2208 1600kv motor, the closest I found was 2206 1600kv or a 2208 1800kv. I'm not sure what the effect of the physical size of the motor is, or if the 2mm in height really matters to the drone's performance or stability.
What I'm asking is for someone to explain to me what the motor size effects, and for a link to 2208 1600kv motor (or bigger).
OH YEAH, what kind of battery size and cell count or whatever should i use too.
