FPV goggles with lots of static noise

I bought a betafpv twig et5 quad and fatshark scout goggles to get started in FPV drone flying. The drone and controller work fine and I can fly the quad around without the goggles. When I try and use the goggles I cannot find a band for frequency without have severe static on the screen and almost no signal. Is there anything I need to set up to make these goggles work so I have a clear picture?
