I just lost my S5C drone. Really bummed but super excited about this hobby

I got this drone as a gift during Christmas and finally decided to break it out when the family came over. I was playing with it for hours today chasing the kids around with it. I finally let my step sister have a turn and she flew it right off into a tree 10 stories tall. I tried getting it down but no luck. Any advice on a better drone? One that’s easier to control and doesn’t feel as plastic ?
