Help Binding Taranis Q X7 ACCST with RX8R Pro

Hey. I have been trying for the past week to attempt and bind my transmitter and receiver together with no luck. When I power on the receiver I get solid red and green light when I am holding the F/S button before powering the receiver. I have tried jumping ch. 7 and 8 and pairing with telemetry and 3 and 4 pairing without all with the same results. I have seen online that having both lights solid like that means there is a firmware compatibility error with the two but I have tried flashing both to FCC or LBT firmware's to get them on the same and no luck. I don't know what more I am missing and really would love the help as this is bringing my current project to complete halt and that really sucks. Thanks for any advice!
