Idiot alert: I'm super new to fpv drones and I have a question regarding Goggel antenna. Fatshark recon v3.

I've just brought my first ever fpv drone (tinyhawk 2) no surprise to the drone.

I'm brand new to this and I brought a fatshark recon v3 only goggles sub £100 that doesn't take 8 weeks for delivery. Common sence says the antenna that it comes with will be a tad shit. The stock antenna is a dipole, could I use something like a an omnidirectional antenna something like this.

I know it's probably a very stupid question. I've never dealt with anything over 2.4ghz. Going into the 8ghz is new to me so I have no idea. Had cheap Chinese drones that are fly in sight.
