Looking for a cheap 'scout' drone

Hey Folks, I am a total beginner when it comes to drones but I have read a fair bit and I am sure that in the long run the mini2 (combo of course) us what I am looking for. I'm not so sure if I will end up using the drone a lot, so I am bit hesitant to put down the money for a mini2 combo yet. I saw some people recommended the jjrc x9ps but it seems like you don't have a video feed while you are flying, is that correct? I want to have a drone so I can 'look around while hiking. Making videos and photos is secondary (although it's a nice feature). Can you recommend a drone that is <250g, has a video feed and cheaper than dji? I was thinking about the ryze tello as it is really cheap, but I am not sure how the lack of a gimbal will restrict it for my purposes. Thanks!!!
