Hi all,
I finally pulled the trigger on getting my 107 and taking steps toward making this my profession. I'm coming at it from a photography background and I remember that one of the things I was most concerned with those days was running out of batteries during a job so I went nuts on overkill...basically carrying twice as much power as I thought I'd need for everything "just in case."
These batteries are a bit more expensive than camera batteries so I'm trying not to break the bank on power until I actually start seeing a return on my investment and then ramp up from there.
I know the knee-jerk answer to my question is "as long as you think the job will take" but I don't really even know what that might mean right now. If I carry enough power to be on site and in the air for an hour to an hour and a half for simpler jobs when I get started (think real estate and other "get your feet wet" type work that doesn't involve a lot of motion and tracking) would that be enough? Also, as you start ramping up and lining up multiple jobs per day, how many batteries do you start carrying with you to get you through until get back home to recharge?
Any insight or anecdotes would really be appreciated.......
