Question regarding range

I just bought a DJI Mini 2 and love it. I was sitting at home and trying to take video of my wigwams son at the park. Once I got to around about 1800/1900 feet, my signal rapidly decayed to the point of it returning home. I live in the suburbs, but there are a decent amount of power lines around, and I’m just outside of a major air port no fly zone...would this cause a hinderance on the range or?

Thanks. I’m new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated.
