Today was a good day

So about 6 months ago I bought the DJI Mavic Pro 2. I flew it about three times, shelved it, and ended ups selling it. I knew the majority of what I wanted to do was commercial-based and would require Part 107 and I figured it would be too difficult to achieve.

A week ago I said, you know what, this ain't over. I bought the drone again and picked up some books. I quickly realized I needed some online training and knocked it all out within ten hours.

Visited my testing facility today and after a 2-3 minute drumroll of her logging in to review the test - I passed :)

I will admit that the questions were quite a bit different than both the online training I took as well as the book knowledge I learned. But what I did learn gave me the base I needed to understand the questions properly.

Just wanted to share my happiness with you all. I'm over the moon to have pursued this and I look forward to sharing some awesome footage with this sub.

Basically: If you want to get 107, do it. It's not easy, but it's not as difficult as it sounds with the proper dedication and motivation.
