Nos alegramos mucho por esta buena noticia porque en su momento (19-nov-2018) DronProfesional.com publicó un post rompiendo una lanza a favor de considerar la legitimidad de la denuncia de hechos graves mediante fotos o vídeos aéreos, véase: Vuelos aéreos vs derecho a la intimidad

Los hechos parecen darnos la razón. La imagen es tremenda. Fuimos parte de los que se hicieron eco de estos hechos tan repugnantes, y finalmente la presión internacional ha hecho ceder a Rusia. Imaginamos que habrá recibido críticas muy duras, y no es para menos.

Opino que cuando la grabación da testimonio de que se está cometiendo un grave delito como el que ilustra la imagen, la consideración de los derechos a la privacidad, aun siendo un derecho muy importante, debería quedar en segundo lugar. Veremos cómo se va desarrollando el derecho internacional en relación con el uso de imágenes aéreas sobre propiedades privadas en este tipo de circunstancias, porque las cosas nunca son blancas o negras.

La libertad de esas ballenas no habría sido posible sin esa foto aérea.
