Has there ever been consideration of using drones to sedate dangerous animals, thus removing the human element and risk involved.

I was watching a nature documentary where scientist were trying to sedate a lion to give it medical care to a hurt paw. The lion was very defensive and even tho it was hurt, it still charged the man shooting at it with the sedation round. A drone could drop in with a co powered round and safely target and sedate a range of animals from tigers to bears. Being that it would be a drone, the skill of the user would be the only issue, say for dense areas with shrubbery. Just a thought
