I bought my very first drone, a Snaptain S5C with camera, the other day and haven't had great luck trying it out. Granted, it's my very first time, so things aren't gonna go super smoothly, but I feel like there's something wrong with it.
For starters, roughly 50% of the time I take off (I always use the one-button takeoff feature) the drone develops a mind of its own and decides to just cruise away even if I'm not pressing any buttons. Sometimes it'll drift right or left and once it came right for my face. This evening (with no wind, mind you) I took off and the thing immediately zoomed away from me (fast!) down the length of my yard and hit my neighbor's house.
In addition, the signal quality is poor even when the drone is literally right in front of me, and I'm often getting the "weak signal" alert on my phone. I'll lose almost all control over the drone by the time it's less than 50 feet away from me.
Is this all user error or is there something wrong with the drone?
Thanks!
