In our experience of creating original wedding albums, we were able to see the key to creating the perfect wedding album. Our album will tell the story of our wedding, so we’re going to walk through each chapter of that story to tell you the tips we’ve gathered over the years.
Hire a team wedding photographer and a professional drone pilot for your wedding:
When we are looking for the perfect team of professionals for our wedding, it is very important to review the previous work of the company. This way we ensure that the result they offer is similar to what we are looking for in our wedding album.
Don’t be afraid to ask us any questions, as there are many questions that arise when planning a wedding: what are the delivery times, the image format… We are here to help!
Aerial photos in a wedding album are a great added value, they give a different perspective and guarantee that the result will be very original.
On the other hand, it is very important that if you decide to do your wedding photography with a drone, you make sure that the drone pilot is properly licensed and registered with the AESA, as well as having liability insurance.
Communication with the photographer and drone pilot:
If we want specific drone footage or photography in our wedding album, we need to let the team know.
Before the wedding, we will send you a questionnaire in which you will tell us what images you want and what things are important to you. You can show us ideas that you like and that you have collected from the Internet and we will learn how to implement them.
Usually the photographer, videographer and drone pilot team don’t know your friends and family, and they don’t know who’s important to you, so it might be a good idea to have the wedding planner or one of your guests be in charge of gathering or calling the groups you’re with. want to take pictures.
We will also advise you on this in the questionnaire, and give you feedback during the celebration of bands that we have not yet photographed.
Preparation:
In our wedding album, individual photos of the bride and groom are usually taken during the preparation. These are usually both posed and natural photos showing the make-up, hair and wardrobe process that can be placed at the beginning of the album.
These are very emotional moments that a skilled photographer can capture in detail with the closest family and friends usually present during the preparation.
Ceremony:
This is the most important point for photographers: ceremony photos are unique, they are not posed, and for this reason it is very important that the team you hire has a good wedding photography background to capture the maximum number of moments. These photos represent a good thickness of the wedding album.
One of the most representative photos that can be included in our album is the throwing of rice, petals or confetti at the exit of the ceremony, not forgetting the entrance of the two members of the couple into the ceremonial space.
Photo shoot:
Most couples don’t want to skip cocktails with their guests, but from our experience, it’s worth taking 15-20 minutes to have a short bridal session.
These photos are usually posed, preserving the naturalness of each couple, and this is where the photographer shows all his artistic abilities.
In a wedding album, the post-ceremony session is fundamental, in addition to the fact that it is usually the photos that end up being printed in a large size to hang at home.
Although the photos are always delivered edited, you can ask us if you would like to specially process a certain selection of photos, for example black and white, which always bring a special touch to the album.
During the session, this is one of the best times to add a drone photo to your wedding album. The drone pilot will be on hand at the end of the ceremony to take up as little time as possible and coordinate with the photographer and videographer throughout the session.
It will give you material that complements the nearby plans, that allows you to see the farm of your choice and allows you to provide an angle that you would not be able to see in any other way.
Cocktail, treat and party:
At these moments, the experience, speed and accuracy of the photographer and videographer are also at stake.
There are some very funny moments and most of the group photos are taken. Group photos will be taken in the pose, as well as natural photos with the bliss of the moment.
If we decide to do a photo shoot, we’ll have plenty of group footage to add to our album so we can remember the wedding day as a great party.
Types of wedding album:
The possibilities when creating an album are endless. We will send you all the edited material within a specified time after the wedding, and you can choose between creating many types of album.
The most common option is to create an album for the couple and two smaller albums for the parents, but we have many options, from albums for friends to albums that include pre-wedding and post-wedding sessions.
The advantage of having photos in digital format is that we can create the albums we want, when we want.
As for materials, again there is a considerable number of options, from wood to metal, moving to the traditional.
Our recommendation is that you make a scrapbook out of the materials of your choice, but bearing in mind that it is important that the paper of the pages is of good quality; the quality of the image we get with the cameras is very high, and it’s a shame that the paper doesn’t capture all the nuances.
Also, if the materials have good strength, so much the better; as we are going to display the album many times and we need it to last a lifetime to be able to relive the memories as many times as we want, even considering including some type of anti-fingerprint photo paper or cover if we want to transport the album.
Selection of photos:
We can divide our wedding album into the sections we went through, and we advise you not to include all the material we give you, but to choose from the most special photos for us, avoiding the inclusion of plans that are too similar.
After our advice we leave space for all your creativity and as always feel free to ask us any questions you may have via our contact form.
